Community Relations - Diana Peters
Diana Peters is deeply involved in her community, currently volunteering at the Paul Sawyier Library bookstore. She is an active member of Kiwanis and serves on the Friends of the Library Board, further showcasing her commitment to enriching her local area. An art lover, Diana’s interests extend beyond volunteering, as she engages with a variety of artistic endeavors.
Academically, Diana earned a B.A. degree from Western Kentucky University before continuing her education at Kentucky State University, where she completed a Master's Degree in Public Administration. Her strong educational foundation has helped shape her contributions to both her career and community.
Professionally, Diana’s experience spans multiple fields. She taught 8th grade CORE at Waggoner Junior High in Louisville, Kentucky, and spent 34 years working in state government. Additionally, she sold advertising for Capital Living, showcasing her versatility and dedication in various roles throughout her career.
